Job summary

University of Washington in Seattle seeks an experienced urologist specializing in Genitourinary Reconstruction, Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, or Endourology to join a high-volume program. The role includes leadership as Residency Program Director for a full-time, 12-month academic appointment at Associate Professor or Professor level without tenure.

Qualified candidates must have MD or foreign equivalent, board certification/eligibility in urology, and subspecialty fellowship

Qualifications

• MD or foreign equivalent required and board-certified/board-eligible in urology.
• Subspecialty training in GURS, URPS or MIS (Endourology) required or equivalent.
• Eligible for Washington State medical license; UW visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent clinical care and patient management.
• Teach residents, fellows and students.
• Develop and lead research initiatives in reconstructive urology and related fields.
• Gain privileges for robotic-assisted surgery at UW Medicine sites.
