Dignity Health St. Joseph's Medical Center and Touro University Medical Group are seeking an experienced leader to serve as the Program Director for our growing Urology Residency program. This is an ideal role for a surgeon who thrives in a privademic environment, balancing high-volume clinical practice with a commitment to shaping the next generation of urologists.

The Opportunity

The residency program welcomed its inaugural class in July 2022 and maintains a complement of 2 residents per year. You will join 9 existing residency programs at our 355-bed acute care facility, utilizing a state-of-the-art training facility for graduate medical education. St. Joseph's has the DaVinci Xi and DV5 robots.

Compensation and Benefits

This is an employed model through Touro University Medical Group featuring a 2-year income guarantee with a base salary of 545,000 to 550,000 and significant additional earning potential. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, generous PTO, and CME. A competitive sign-on bonus, relocation, and student loan repayment or PSLF options are offered. H1B Visa sponsorship available .

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must be American Board of Urology Certified or Eligible. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of educational or administrative experience as a core faculty member, Associate Program Director, or Program Director in an ACGME-accredited Urology residency program. We are looking for a leader who models professionalism and a commitment to patient care with compassion, sensitivity, and dignity.
