Job Title: Urology - Research Faculty-Tenure Track (Associate or Professor)

Department: Medicine | Urology

Tenure faculty (regardless of rank) - persons with the titles of professor, associate professor, assistant professor and instructor who serve on appointments totaling 50% or more service to the university and who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure. Duties and responsibilities are assigned in accordance with the workload guidelines laid out in the pattern of administration of each faculty member's tenure initiation unit (TIU) and, as appropriate, regional campus; obligations will include research, service and/or teaching or clinical practice. These faculty will have earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study or possession of equivalent experience.

Position Overview

The successful candidates will be nationally or internationally recognized investigators who currently hold a full‑time faculty appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level; exceptional Assistant Professors with demonstrated, faculty‑equivalent independence (e.g., PI on a major peer‑reviewed award such as an NIH R01 or equivalent) will also be considered, and who have established independent and impactful research programs in areas relevant to genitourinary malignancies, with particular applicability to bladder and/or prostate cancer. This unique cluster hire-supported by the rich scientific environments of the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (OSUCCC) and the College of Medicine, in partnership with a leading clinical department-offers an exceptional opportunity to leverage shared strengths in cancer biology, tumor immunology, comparative oncology, translational therapeutics, and investigator-initiated clinical trials.
