Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is recruiting a fellowship-trained Urologist with focus on Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to join the AHN Department of Urology serving the Greater Pittsburgh area. The role includes providing general urology care as well as FPMRS expertise.

The candidate should have board certification in Urology/FPMRS, completed FPMRS fellowship, and be eligible for PA licensure with AHN privileges.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Urology/FPMRS.
• Completed accredited FPMRS fellowship.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Eligible for PA licensure and AHN privileges.

Responsibilities

• Medical and surgical management of complex voiding dysfunction.
• Medical and surgical management of pelvic prolapse.
• Urodynamics.
• Management of pelvic disorders appropriate to fellowship.
• General urology management to a limited scope.
• Robotics/laparoscopic procedures for FPMRS.
• Vaginal surgical procedures as per training.
• Involvement with Urology residency.
• Academic appointment through Drexel College of Medicine, if desired.

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Department of Urology is recruiting a full-time Urologist with fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to join our team serving the Greater Pittsburgh area. Seeking a recruit who will provide the medical and surgical expertise gained from their fellowship. The candidate should also be able to provide general urology services.

Job duties:

1. Medical and surgical management of complex voiding dysfunction
2. Medical and surgical management of pelvic prolapse
3. Urodynamics
4. Management of pelvic disorders as appropriate to the fellowship trained candidate
5. General urology medical and surgical management to a limited scope
6. Robotics/laparoscopic procedures pertaining to FPMRS
7. Vaginal surgical procedures as per training
8. Involvement with Urology residency
9. Academic appointment through Drexel College of Medicine, if desired

Job Qualifications:

1. Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
2. Completion of accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery
3. MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
4. Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure
5. DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privileges
