Job summary

Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Department of Urology is recruiting a full-time Urologist with fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to serve the Greater Pittsburgh area. The candidate should provide medical and surgical expertise gained from their fellowship and general urology services.

The role includes involvement with Urology residency, potential academic appointment through Drexel College of Medicine, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of accredited fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
• Board certification or eligible status in Urology/FPMRS.
• Eligible for unrestricted Pennsylvania medical licensure.
• DEA certification and ability to obtain AHN medical staff privilege.

Responsibilities

• Medical and surgical management of complex voiding dysfunction.
• Medical and surgical management of pelvic prolapse.
• Urodynamics.
• Management of pelvic disorders as appropriate to the fellowship trained candidate.
• General urology medical and surgical management to a limited scope.
• Robotics/laparoscopic procedures pertaining to FPMRS.
• Vaginal surgical procedures as per training.
• Involvement with Urology residency.
• Academic appointment through Drexel College of Medicine, if desired.

Education
