- Other Details: The facility is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for general inpatient coverage, including ER call, at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Coverage is needed 1 2 weeks per month with weekday (7am 7am) and weekend call (Friday 5pm Monday 7am) requirements, and flexibility is essential as schedules may vary month to month. Support includes 4 NPs, 1 AP, 3 Urologists, and 5 mid-levels. The patient load is about 10 adults per day. Candidates must have an active DEA, CSR, ACLS, and BLS certifications, with at least 2 years of experience. Preferred skills include laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, TRUS biopsies, and advanced endoscopic techniques; Holmium laser certification is a plus. Orientation is 16 hours non-billable, and the contract length is 3 6 months. COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but flu vaccination is required (with exemptions allowed).
