Job description

Job Opportunity: Full-Time Urologist

We are seeking a full-time bread and butter Urologist for clinic duties and call coverage. The clinic manager will provide a tour and orientation before the start date. The ideal candidate should be interested in a wide variety of general cases, including clinic, rounding, and OR procedures. Candidates should be collegial team players with excellent patient and customer service skills. An onsite robot is available at the hospital for cases as needed. The provider will be the sole Urologist in a fast-paced and busy department and may take hospital call during clinic hours.

Assignment Details

• Duration: 3-4 months
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Responsibilities

Provide general urology care in clinic and on call, focusing on routine, bread-and-butter procedures.

Procedures & Volume

• Required Procedures: Bread and butter urology, robotic cases available
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Surgeries per month: 20-30

Additional Details

• Robotics: Yes
• Call Volume: 20% consults, 80% callbacks
• Admissions: Managed by hospitalist team
• Rounding: Locum will round
• EMR System: Epic

Qualifications

• Board eligible considered; Board certified preferred
• WA or IMLC license in hand and uploaded: Highly preferred
• Other Certifications: BLS, DEA (Required)

Credentialing Timeline & Requirements

Credentialing timeframe: 3 months

Must notate all during name clears to avoid redirection.

Additional Preferences

• Board Certified or Board Eligible: Highly preferred
• North Dakota License: Highly preferred
• Malpractice: Clean record preferred

Availability

Dates: 5/1 - 12/31

Note: Will accept providers within 5 years of residency if Board Eligible.
