A leading healthcare provider in Saginaw, Michigan, is seeking a skilled urologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in laparoscopic procedures and general urology, with a focus on excellent clinical outcomes and communication skills. This position offers a collaborative environment with experienced colleagues and state-of-the-art facilities, including advanced surgical technology. The practice supports professional growth with opportunities to mentor medical students and residents.
• Client consists of a 205-member employed physician group, supported by over 77 advanced practice providers.
• The ideal candidate will possess skills in laparoscopic procedures, as well as the full range of general urology. The provider should have excellent clinical outcomes, be diligent and meticulous, and possess excellent communication skills with patients and families.
• We are seeking a urologist with excellent clinical and leadership skills as we continue to build this premier urologic practice.
• You will join three other experienced urologists, including two uro-oncologists. The facility prefers a General Urologist, as two of their three providers are already trained in robotic surgery and uro-oncology.
• Call schedule will be 1:4.
• In addition to the hospital OR, there is a beautiful outpatient surgery center available to urologists. Both facilities are equipped with da Vinci robots. The clinic is located in a modern building with primary care and pediatrics.
• Physicians will use Epic as their EHR, as the client has been an early adopter of Epic for around 15 years.
• The practice provides all clinic personnel, including a practice coordinator onsite.
• There is an opportunity for physicians to have medical students and residents from Central Michigan University round with them.
• The region boasts the greatest breadth of specialists, including most IM subspecialties and numerous surgical subspecialties. The Emergency Care Center has been ranked among the best in the country.
• The facility is a Level 2 trauma center, certified for pediatrics and geriatrics. The geriatrics area in the ECC offers comprehensive services, including immediate access to therapists and social workers, disposable hearing and visual aids, and more comfortable bedding.
• State-of-the-art facilities include two advanced da Vinci HD robots, a new hybrid operating suite, and the ARTIS pheno robotic C-arm angiography system for minimally invasive interventional procedures. This technology is the first of its kind in the Great Lakes Bay Region and the second in Michigan, revolutionizing surgical approaches.
