Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive urological care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Manage scheduled clinical hours and be on call, responding within a 30-minute timeframe.
• Conduct patient encounters, averaging 15 per shift, along with 2-3 phone consultations.
• Perform rounding duties and attend to admissions as necessary.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in ongoing patient management and follow-ups.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree with completion of residency in Urology.
• Eligibility for board certification in Urology.
• Active provider license and hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available.
• Proficient in using EMR systems such as Athena & Meditech.
• Ability to handle a variety of clinical scenarios in a fast-paced environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Must possess an active medical license to practice in Virginia.
• Hospital privileges are required; temporary privileges can be arranged.
• Board certification is preferred but not mandatory; eligibility is acceptable.
