Job description

A Pennsylvania health system is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist for ongoing inpatient call coverage across three closely located hospitals. Strong weekday APP support and manageable volumes make this an ideal long-term locums opportunity.

Position Details

• Start Date: July 2025
• Schedule: Ongoing, min. 7 shifts/month
• Shift: 24-hour call (Mon 7a - Mon 7a blocks preferred)
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call Volume: Light on weekdays, busier on weekends
• Cases: General urology, consults, emergent procedures
• Pediatrics: 5%, mainly testicular torsion
• Support: APPs M-F (8a-4:30p)
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements

• Board Status: BC/BE (within 5 years) in Urology
• Experience: 5+ years
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Licensure: PA or IMLC LOQ
• Response Time: 30 minutes
• Credentialing: 60 days
