Job description

Job Title: Locums Urology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Urology Physician to provide comprehensive urology services in Galesburg, IL. This position includes ambulatory clinic coverage, OR procedures, and hospital call support to ensure high-quality care for adult patients.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with coverage in either the clinic or the operating room. The role also includes 24-hour weekend call and after-hours call during the week. The clinic sees approximately 18 to 22 patients per day, focusing on adult patients only—no pediatric cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient care in the clinic setting, performing office-based procedures such as cystoscopy.
• Conduct routine urology surgeries in the operating room.
• Support hospital call coverage, including ER support and management of emergent urology cases.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
• ACLS & BLS certifications required
• Active Controlled Substance Registration (CSR)
• Fully licensed or have an IMLC license in hand
