Job description

Join an established, well-respected multispecialty group with over 150 clinicians, including roughly 100 physicians and 50 advanced practice providers/other professionals, serving the community for over 100 years. The group is physician owned and operated. Incoming physicians will be pre-shareholders for the first 2 years, with an invitation to become shareholders afterward. The shareholder contract is evergreen, and each shareholder owns one share, with all shares being equal.

Location

The group is based in the Sacramento metropolitan area, just 25 minutes from downtown Sacramento, 1 hour from Napa, 1 hour 45 minutes from San Francisco, and 19 minutes from Davis, CA, a well-known university town. Sacramento International Airport is only eight miles to the east. A two-hour drive takes you to Lake Tahoe, home to the highest concentration of ski resorts in the country, with record-breaking snowfall and stunning views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

About the Position:

1. Average patients per day: 17
2. One procedure day per week in clinic, with an average of 10-12 procedures per day
3. OR/procedure days versus clinic: 1-1.5 days per week in office
4. One to two OR days per week, with an average of 4-5 procedures per day
5. One to three days per month in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC)
6. Call requirement: 7 days per month; physicians must live within 30 minutes of the hospital
7. In the process of adding robotic surgery capabilities
