Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities.

UT Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a skilled Urology Physician with robotics experience to join our team in Athens, Texas. This full-time position offers a balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient care, with opportunities to perform advanced robotic-assisted urologic procedures while managing a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be committed to high-quality, patient-centered care and have experience with robotic surgery.

Requirements:

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Urology.
• Robotics experience required (Da Vinci Robotic platform preferred).

About the Position:

• Patient Load: 20-25 patients per day (outpatient & inpatient combined)
• Surgical Volume: 1-5 surgical patients per week (robotic and non-robotic cases)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Call Schedule: 10 days per month and 1 weekend
• EMR System: EPIC
