Responsibilities

• Provide locum coverage for urology, working in ED & Inpatient settings.
• Handle 15-20 patients per day, performing 2-5 surgeries per weekend.

Clinical Role:

Open Dates:

• June: 6-8, 13-15, 20-22, 27-29
• July: 3-6 (holiday), 18-20, 25-27
• August: 1-3, 8-10, 15-17, 29-September 2 (Labor Day)
• September: 5-7, 12-14, 19-21
• October: 3-5, 10-12, 17-19, 24-26
• November: 21-23, 26-30 (Thanksgiving), 31-12/2
• December: 5-7, 19-21, 24-28 (Christmas)

Reason for Coverage: Build the locum coverage pool

Call Schedule: 24-hour call from 6am to 6am

Patient Population: 100% Adult/Geriatric

Work Settings: ED & Inpatient Only

Average Surgeries per Weekend: 2-5

Other Urologists: Not present during locum's assignment; group has 4 urologists

Onsite Facilities: Lab and X-Ray

Patient Volume: 15-20 patients per day

EMR System: Epic

Trauma Level: II

Required Procedures and Areas: Ureteroscopy, Laparoscopic Surgeries, General Urology, Trauma, Nephrectomy, Partial Nephrectomies/Intraoperative Ultrasound, Incontinence Procedures

Qualifications: Board Certified, Active SC license (no exceptions), Clean background (no exceptions), extensive experience with great ratings, no new grads

Preferred: BLS/ACLS certification

Application Requirements: Submit 1 professional reference at the time of presentation
