Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting a Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Urologist to join a growing practice at a Level II trauma-designated facility in Michigan. This position offers a collaborative work environment with a balanced clinical and surgical schedule.
Details:
• Accepting candidates who are truly Board Eligible (must obtain Board Certification within 6 months) or Board Certified in Urology
• Reason for coverage: growth
• Desired start date: ASAP with approximately 90-day credentialing process
• Schedule includes outpatient, inpatient, rounds, and clinic
• Collaborative call rotation of 1:4, including some weekends, to support sustainable work-life balance
• Surgical schedule: two dedicated OR days per week
• Clinic schedule: approximately 2.5 days per week
• Providers typically see 22 patients per day, including two new patients
• Clinic patient volume: patients per day
• Facility trauma level/designation: Level II
• State-of-the-art facilities with a convenient clinic location minutes from the hospital
• Skilled support staff including Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs), five Medical Assistants (MAs), and front office staff
• On-site procedures include disposable cystoscopies, vasectomies, BCG and Gemzar instillations, uroflow and urodynamic studies, and prostate biopsies
• Streamlined consults with only one hospital to consult, minimizing travel and simplifying workflow
• Collaborative medical and administrative team promoting meaningful patient care
• Teaching hospital with Graduate Medical Education program and Center for Health Innovation
• Documentation system: EPIC EMR
• Incumbents may perform additional job-related duties beyond those described
• Not open to candidates with lapsed Board Certification seeking recertification
• Not open to 1099 candidates
• Fixed shift schedules; alternate shifts not accommodated
