Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Core Physicians Urology team in Exeter, NH seeks an Office Registered Nurse for a 24-hour/week daytime schedule. The role blends telephone triage, care coordination, and hands-on patient care within a coordinated in-office setting.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, patient education, and supporting physicians with exams and procedures. NH or compact-state RN license and BLS within 6 months are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited RN program.
• RN license – NH or other Compact State.
• BLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative duties: answering calls, filing, chart maintenance, scheduling.
• May be assigned to coordinate and train new clinical staff.
• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, assists physicians with examinations and procedures, and consults with the physician and other specialists.
• May provide patient/family education including chronic disease management and Medicare wellness visits.
• Purchases and maintains medical supplies and equipment per CORE policies; ensures equipment functions.
• Enhances professional growth through educational programs and in-services.
• Maintains patient education and provides counseling and a safe environment.
• Monitors nursing documentation and updates care guidelines to close gaps in care.
• Adheres to CORE policies, confidentiality, safety, and infection control; other duties as assigned.
