Job summary

The Kidney is seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Urology to serve at the Green Bay Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) within the NEWAC Division. The NP will provide comprehensive urology care to Veterans, emphasizing quality and timeliness in outpatient, clinic, and surgical settings.

Responsibilities include taking histories, performing exams, ordering studies, counseling patients, and coordinating perioperative care with the Urology Service Line.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Urology care to Veterans across outpatient, clinic, and surgical settings.
• Obtain and evaluate medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop and adjust medical management plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and coordinate associated services and supplies.
• Write orders and prescribe medications, including pre-operative antibiotics and perioperative meds.
• Complete medical records per staff bylaws and ensure proper documentation.
• Establish professional working relationships across the medical center and clinics to support Urology care.
