Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Brady Urological Institute and Department of Urology. The NP will work with faculty physicians to deliver Hopkins-quality, continuous care for urologic patients, coordinating multidisciplinary care at both JHH and Green Springs locations.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Nurse Practitioner certification and MD licensure/permit to practice in Maryland required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Credentialing per Johns Hopkins requirements prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing patients, obtaining histories, performing exams.
• Educating patients and families to promote wellness.
• Prescribe and regulate medications per provider agreements.
• Document health assessment data and coordinate services.
• Liaise between urology team and primary care/other specialties.
