Job summary

Johns Hopkins University invites applications for a Nurse Practitioner to join the Brady Urological Institute and Department of Urology. The NP will work with faculty to deliver Hopkins-quality care for urologic patients, coordinating multidisciplinary care and data processing across JHH and Green Springs locations.

The role includes recruiting, consenting, and following up with study subjects, as well as contributing to protocol development and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing and RN license with NP certification.
• MD state NP licensure or other state licensure required.
• Current CPR certification required and must be maintained.
• Credentialing process completion before start date.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, take histories, perform exams, order tests, diagnose and treat.
• Educate patients and families to promote wellness and manage illnesses.
• Prescribe medications per physician agreements and document care.
• Coordinate scheduling and manage complex patient treatment plans.
• Act as liaison with primary care providers and other health professionals.
• Mentor nurses, physicians, students and staff; participate in continuing education.
