Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama is seeking a Urology Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced nursing care for conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive system. You will work with urologists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care across the patient continuum.

Responsibilities include exams, tests, minor procedures, patient education, and coordination of follow-up and referrals.

Qualifications

• Academic preparation and degree as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner with current licensure in state of AL.
• BCLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manages and treats urological conditions and coordinates care with urologists and the healthcare team.
• Conducts physical examinations and evaluates voiding patterns, pain and continence.
• Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic tests and imaging as appropriate.
