Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District in Brawley, CA is seeking a Urology NP-PA to provide episodic and ongoing patient care under physician supervision, performing histories, exams, and treatment planning per protocol.

You will coordinate with the Medical Director, order labs and imaging, educate patients, and contribute to routine quality improvement while guiding clinical support staff in daily tasks.

Responsabilités

• Examines patients, independently assesses and develops a treatment plan according to protocol and physician consultations.
• Determines whether the patient's condition requires immediate physician attention.
• Executes standing orders and orders labs and x-ray studies.
• After physician consultation, may refer appropriate patients to specialists for consultation.
• May perform routine therapeutic procedures.
• Writes prescriptions as permitted by the state regulatory agency.
• Instructs and counsels patients or guardians on health matters and follow-up.
• Assists site Manager in supervising clinical support staff and maintaining protocols.
• Participates in quality improvement activities through chart reviews and other methods.
