Job summary

Community Care Urology in Latham, NY is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a physician-led practice alongside five board-certified urologists. You will evaluate and manage adult patients with both acute and chronic urologic conditions, conduct new patient consultations, and provide pre- and post-operative care in an outpatient setting.

The role offers a four-day work week option, opportunities to develop in-office procedures, and a supportive, collaborative APP model

Qualifications

• License and active NYS registration as PA or NP.
• PA: bachelor’s in PA, NYSED-approved program, NCCPA cert.
• PA: 1 year ambulatory PA experience; CPR cert.
• NP: NYSED-acceptable NP program grad; AANPCB/ANCC cert; pharmacology coursework; ambulatory nursing exp; CPR.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions.
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice and training.
• Manage conditions such as kidney stones, BPH, hematuria, OAB, urinary incontinence, UTIs, ED, male infertility, interstitial cystitis.
