Job summary

Watson Clinic in Lakeland, FL seeks an experienced APRN to join the Urology team. You will deliver patient-centered care across clinic, hospital, perioperative, and outpatient settings, including first-assist duties in the OR and perioperative planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration with urologists and a patient-first approach, supporting education, follow-ups, diagnostic evaluations, and complex discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active Florida NP license and board certification.
• Experience in urology or acute care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care across clinic, hospital, outpatient, and perioperative environments.
• Perform First Assist responsibilities in the operating room.
• Manage post-operative care, rounding, orders, and discharge planning.
• Complete admissions, histories & physicals, discharges, consults, and triage.
• Collaborate with urologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary team for transitions of care.
• Support outpatient urology services including follow-up visits and education.
