Job summary

PacMed's Urology team seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support examinations, procedures, diagnostic testing and patient education. You will coordinate care for urinary tract, kidney, bladder and prostate conditions in a collaborative clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school with hands-on Medical Assistant training.
• Completed a Medical Assistant apprenticeship or formal training program.
• Has at least one year of MA experience with vital signs and injections.
• Within 30 days of hire, Washington MA certification and BLS (AHA) are required.
• Minimum 6 months healthcare and MA experience

Responsibilities

• Support providers with examinations, procedures and testing.
• Educate patients and coordinate care across the treatment plan.
• Assist with navigation of pathways for urinary tract, kidney, bladder and prostate conditions.
• Collaborate in a team-based clinical environment to ensure patient comfort.
