Job summary

PacMed Clinics, part of Pacific Medical Centers, seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support a Urology team dedicated to compassionate, specialized care for patients with urologic conditions. You will assist with examinations, procedures, diagnostic testing, patient education, and care coordination while guiding patients through treatments affecting urinary tract, kidneys, bladder, and prostate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
• Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
• Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces
• Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant with vital signs, injections, and medication administration
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Healthcare experience
• 6 months Medical Assistant experience

Responsibilities

• Support providers with examinations, procedures, diagnostic testing, patient education and care coordination
• Help patients navigate treatment for urologic conditions
• Collaborate with team in a patient-centered care model
