Job summary

Arizona Urology Specialists is seeking a Medical Assistant to coordinate clinical care, support physicians, and assist with infection control and equipment maintenance. The role includes preparing exam rooms, taking vitals, collecting specimens, and triaging patient calls with EHR documentation.

Requirements include a Medical Assistant program or 1 year MA experience, high school diploma, and Arizona certification preference.

Qualifications

• Requires Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1 year MA experience in a medical clinic.
• Urology experience is a plus (ARIZONA ONLY).
• Proficiency in triaging patients, phlebotomy, injections, vitals, and specimen processing.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily exam rooms and stocks necessary supplies.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and take vital signs.
• Collect urine specimens and perform urinalysis when indicated.
• Triage patient calls, document outcomes in EHR.
• Maintain logs/records for OSHA/MOSHA and adhere to safety policies.
