Arizona Urology Specialists is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical staff in patient care and room management. The role involves direct and indirect patient care, triage, phlebotomy, vitals collection, and processing specimens.

You will assist with infection control, inventory, and equipment maintenance under physician delegation. The ideal candidate has a Medical Assistant program credential or relevant MA experience, strong customer service, and proficient EHR skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or 1 year MA clinic experience required.
• Arizona MA certification preferred (AZ only).
• Proficiency with triaging, phlebotomy, injections, vitals, and specimen processing.

Responsabilités

• Prepares daily exam rooms for patient care.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and takes vital signs.
• Triages patient calls and documents outcomes in EHR.
• Maintains OSHA/MOSHA logs and records.
• Follows sterilization and disinfection practices.
• Complies with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
• May greet patients and visitors by phone or in person.
