Busy Gilbert Urology office is looking for a motivated, professional, and friendly nationally-certified Medical Assistant to deliver compassionate care to patients by assisting with clinical tasks, supporting clinical staff, and providing direct interaction with patients and their caregivers.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares patient charts.
2. Prepares and sanitizes exam rooms before and after patient visits.
3. Rooms patients; records vital signs and assessments.
4. Processes referrals as needed.
5. Calls patients with results as directed by the provider.
6. Sets up orders such as transfusions, hospital administration, phlebotomy, etc.
7. Handles physician requests and coordinates special testing.
8. Assists coworkers to ensure quality patient care.
9. Maintains a professional, team-oriented, positive attitude.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Stable work history and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain vital signs and follow physician instructions.
• Good rapport with patients.
• Computer skills; experience with electronic medical records is a plus.
• Organizational skills and effective communication.
• Flexibility, reliability, and self-motivation.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Education and Qualifications:
