Job summary

Olympus America is seeking a Prostate Health Clinical Specialist to support urology procedures across the New York area, including NYC, Newark, and Long Island. In a field role you’ll train providers, drive adoption of Olympus technologies, and partner with Sales and Marketing to align clinical strategies.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in healthcare sales/clinical roles, strong HCP relationship skills, and a willingness to travel up to 80% in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and relevant clinical/business experience
• Minimum of 3 years of healthcare Sales, Marketing and/or clinical experience within a hospital operating room environment
• Experience in developing and managing HCP relationships is essential
• Proven ability to develop accounts, training physicians and their staff
• Ability to execute strategic plans and lead change
• Experience interacting with a diverse cross functional team
• Strong prospecting skills and be a self-starter
• Capable of independent action and detail oriented
• Multi-task/time-management skills
• Ability to internalize technical concepts, products, and services
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel domestically to train physicians and attend meetings
• 80% travel expected (4 field days, 1 admin day)
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and tradeshows and internal events

Responsibilities

• Support healthcare provider training in person and virtually
• Provide feedback to product development based on clinical experience
• Serve as the product expert to drive adoption and safe use of prostate procedures
• Develop and support healthcare provider relationships and identify business needs
• Provide resources to enable the sales team to influence healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with product Marketing and Professional Education to define provider needs
• Provide the sales organization with educational support and guidance
• Contribute to sales training content and delivery
• Capture field learnings to inform marketing initiatives
• Develop best practice roadmaps for training and adoption
• Report complaints/adverse events to Olympus teams
• Perform other related duties as assigned
