Job summary

USC Care Medical Group is hiring an Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver therapeutic care using the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team in Glendale, CA. The role requires a BSN, CA RN license, BLS, and 2+ years of ambulatory care experience.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnoses, planning, medication administration, and education. Strong communication and adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality measures are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required; grandfathered if hired before 12/2019.
• Minimum 2 years ambulatory care experience.
• Preferred 1 year in coronary/surgical ICU (CVTI) or non-invasive cardiology settings.
• Must have excellent communication in English (spoken, reading, and writing).
• Knowledge of medical procedures and ability to follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process to assess and screen patients by phone or in clinic.
• Interprets assessments to form nursing diagnoses and plans.
• Administers medications as ordered and documents outcomes.
• Maintains accurate care plans, lists, and allergies documentation.
• Educates patients and families based on diagnosis or treatment plan.
• Ensures safe device usage, regulatory compliance, and chart accuracy.
