Job summary

Beloit Health System's Beloit Clinic Urology is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, focusing on patient care in the Urology clinic. The RN will work with physicians, APPs, and clinical staff to deliver high-quality care for a range of urologic conditions, in a 40-hour week with a first-shift schedule.

The role requires nursing licensure in Wisconsin, CPR certification within 3 months, and experience with electronic medical records; prior urology experience is preferred to

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• State of Wisconsin nursing licensure required (compact license or temp permit).
• CPR certified within 3 months of hire.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records; Urology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists provider with procedures and provides nursing care and procedures as necessary.
• Navigates computer software applications for charting and orders.
• Receives and handles department telephone calls.
• Administers and maintains current medications.
• Educates patients and families as appropriate.
• Ensures supplies are on hand and department is organized.
• Assesses basic physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Maintains infection control procedures and patient safety.
