Job summary

St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a dynamic Urology Clinic LPN to join our expanding urology practice. This full-time position offers day shifts and a collaborative team environment in a fast-paced setting.

You will provide hands-on LPN support during patient visits and office procedures, obtain vitals, assist with catheter care and medications, and document accurately in EMR while helping launch and grow the new clinic and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nursing.
• Current State LPN license.
• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• One year of experience as an LPN, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on LPN support for patient visits, exams, and in-office urology procedures.
• Obtain vital signs, histories, specimens, and assist with catheter care, medications, and treatments within scope of practice.
• Educate patients, coordinate follow-up care, and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Partner closely with providers to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
• Play an active role in launching and growing our new Urology Clinic by helping develop efficient workflows and a positive patient experience.

Hours: 8-hour shifts- 7:30 am to 4:30 pm (Monday through Friday)
