Job summary

NC Health’s NC Urology Raleigh team is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver high-quality urologic care alongside four surgeons and two APPs. The role supports inpatient rounds, ER/inpatient consults, OR coverage, and outpatient management at Rex/UNC facilities in Raleigh and Holly Springs.

Ideal candidates include NPs or PAs with strong clinical skills, licensure in North Carolina, and ability to work independently within a collaborative team. New grads considered.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in North Carolina; DEA.
• Board certification if required by the Department.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical assessments; develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and/or families regarding conditions, treatment, and follow-up.
• Lead/precept staff and participate in rounds, lectures, and training.
• Maintain professional interactions with patients and the care team; ensure timely responses and documentation.
• Engage in daily quality improvement and protocol updates to improve patient care.
