Job summary

Atrium Health Urology in Lake Norman, NC is seeking two Advanced Practice Providers (PA/NP) to join a growing urology team. This outpatient/inpatient/OR role offers a four‑day work week with no weekends or call and a supportive learning environment.

Candidates should have 1+ year in urology or surgical settings, NC NP/PA licensure, DEA, BLS, and appropriate certification. Onboarding includes structured training and a weekly urology education conference.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with 1+ urology or surgical experience.
• Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. Current NC license to practice as a NP or PA. DEA license and BLS required.
• NPs: master’s or Doctorate in nursing practice; Acute Care NP certification for inpatient; Family/Adult NP for outpatient.
• PAs: NCCPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care in outpatient, inpatient and OR settings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of urologic conditions and perform focused history and physical exams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families and document care thoroughly in EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
