Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with NC license and DEA registration.
• 1+ year of urology or surgical experience (new grads with strong clinical background considered).
• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Nursing Practice for NPs; certification as Acute Care NP for inpatient roles.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• NPs outpatient: Family or Adult certifications; PAs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient/inpatient urology care within Atrium Health Urology Lake Norman.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to coordinate patient care.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and participate in education conferences.
