BAS Healthcare, Inc. in Burlington, MA is offering an APP/Urology fellowship designed to train certified Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners as autonomous urologic providers. The 12-month program combines didactic education with hands-on clinical rotations in a supportive environment.

You will work about 40 hours per week, primarily in Burlington and Peabody clinics, with occasional travel to satellite clinics; requires NP/PA degree, MA license, BLS/ACLS, and submission materials.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Massachusetts NP/PA license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• One year or more of advanced practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join an APPFA accredited urology fellowship program designed to prepare certified graduate Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners as autonomous urologic providers.
• 12-month fellowship comprised of didactic education and clinical rotations while working as a staff AP.
• Train under the scope of your license in a supportive learning environment with supervising physicians and identified mentors.
• Develop a comprehensive urologic knowledge base and skill set to provide inpatient, outpatient, and intraoperative care.
• Work at the top of your scope of practice while maintaining self-awareness of clinical competence boundaries.
• Weekday schedule with approximately 40 hours weekly based primarily in the Burlington and Peabody clinics.
• Occasional travel to satellite urology clinics may be required.
• At least one or more years of advanced practice experience preferred, and/or APs looking to make a career change.
• Must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Valid NP or PA license in Massachusetts required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Submission requirements include CV, cover letter/letter of interest, two letters of recommendation, and demonstrated strong desire to work in Urology
