Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a nurse practitioner in Texas with eligibility for full prescriptive authority.
• Licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing APRN and/or licensed as a physician assistant.
• DEA licensure eligibility.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients across the lifespan.
• Prescribes interventions following approved protocols and collaborates with physicians and other providers.
• Performs first assist and/or EVD-related tasks as delegated and credentialed.
• Ensures safe patient care, accurate documentation, and adherence to policy and budgeting constraints.
• Assists in surgical procedures as needed and participates in care transitions across inpatient/outpatient settings.

Nurse Practitioner Masters (required)
