Job summary

The Department of Urology at the University of Washington Medical Center Seattle Northwest campus seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP/PA-C) for a full-time, 12-month Teaching Associate role. The anticipated start is Fall 2026, with annual appointment and paid time off equivalent to one month.

The position combines clinical, education and research duties within a multidisciplinary urology team. Base pay ranges from $120,000 to $174,000 per year, commensurate with experience and the U.S.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN licensure or PA license in Washington.
• Graduate degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Nationally certified ARNP or PA-C with DEA license.
• No minimum years of experience required if credentials are met.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice care within scope of Urology inpatients and outpatients.
• Order and perform tests relevant to presenting issues.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams including focused Urology assessment.
• Identify diagnoses based on history, test results and assessment.
• Prescribe and manage treatment plans and medications.
• Coordinate care with physicians, residents, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Lead or participate in team conferences and assist in procedures within scope.
