Job summary

The University of Washington Department of Urology invites applications for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP - ARNP/PA-C) at the Teaching Associate level for a full-time, 12-month term at UWMC Northwest campus in Seattle. Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN licensure or licensure as a PA in Washington.
• Graduate degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Nationally certified ARNP or PA-C with DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice care within scope of practice for Urology inpatients and outpatients.
• Order, initiate and perform testing appropriate to presenting complaints.
• Perform comprehensive physical exams including focused Urology exam as appropriate.
• Prescribe and manage treatment plans and medications.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Coordinate with physicians, residents and fellows; participate in team conferences.
• Assist in OR for robotic procedures as applicable.
