Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan in New York, NY is seeking a Urologist to provide comprehensive urologic care, supervise residents, and contribute to teaching and clinical services in a collaborative academic environment.

The role offers a base salary of $352,000–$362,000 with additional compensation potential including call sessions and bonuses, with total compensation illustrated around $482,720–$493,520 depending on board status. Visa sponsorship may be considered.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Urology.
• Active NY state medical license or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urologic care, including diagnosis and treatment with surgical and non-surgical approaches.
• Performa broad range of general urologic procedures and surgeries based on patient and departmental needs.
• Supervise and contribute to the development of didactics and case discussions for resident and medical student training.
• Instruct and mentor residents and medical students, offering hands-on training and theoretical education in Urology.
• Participate in planning and execution of urologic procedures.
• Ensure efficient functioning of the outpatient suite and participate in clinical procedures and patient care.
• Coordinate with PAs and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support the continuous improvement of the Department's teaching programs and integrate new technologies and techniques.

Education

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology
