Job summary
Legacy Health's Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland is seeking a full-time Urologist to provide comprehensive care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and opportunities for teaching and program development.
The ideal candidate is board eligible or board-certified in Urologic Surgery, licensed to practice in Oregon with a DEA registration. Relocation, CME allowance, and a full medical plan are included as part of the package.
Qualifications
- Board eligibility or certification in Urologic Surgery (ABU)
- Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Urologic Surgery residency and fellowship
Responsibilities
- Provides a full range of urology care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Participates in call coverage for urologic patients with other urology physicians.
- Responds to referral physicians verbally and in writing.
- Participates in Legacy Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs and peer review.
- Supervises physician assistants involved with surgery and management of urology patients.
