Keystone Distinction Group in Southwest Georgia is seeking an experienced Urologist to join a full-time practice at a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital alongside an affiliated physician group.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM with a balanced mix of clinic and operating room duties, a 7-day-per-month call, and mentorship opportunities for students and residents. Comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must have completed or be nearing completion of an accredited urology residency.
• Board certification or eligibility within 5 years in Georgia.
• Georgia medical license or active engagement in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and surgical urology care in a balanced clinic and operating room schedule.
• Participate in a manageable call schedule (7 days per month) with additional compensation for extra duty.
• Mentor medical students and residents to support professional development.
• Collaborate within a community-based teaching hospital alongside a physician group.

Conditions Treated and Procedures Performed

• Kidney stones using ESWL, Holmium, and Thulium lasers.
• Treatment of erectile dysfunction through implants and medications.
• Prostate enlargement therapies including FUROLIT, Rezum, Aquablation, TURP, and HoLEP.
• Management of urinary tract infections and urological cancers with advanced techniques like MRI fusion and biopsies.
• Procedures such as vasectomies, male slings, and cystoscopies with urodynamics and ultrasound.

Candidate Requirements

• Completion or near completion of a urology residency program.
• Board-certified or eligible (with certification within 5 years), holding a Georgia Medical License or participating in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
