Job summary

West Georgia Urology, a Tanner Health employed practice in Carrollton and Villa Rica, GA, seeks a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join a thriving, established team. The role offers a 7on/7off schedule, biweekly coverage, and consultative and surgical responsibilities at Tanner Medical Center Carrollton and Villa Rica.

Expect adult-only patient care with access to DaVinci robotic systems (5, XI, X) and an EPIC EMR with scribe support; Georgia medical and DEA licensing eligibility

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Urology required.
• Residency trained from an accredited program.
• Eligibility to obtain Georgia medical license and DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative and surgical urology services at Tanner Medical Centers Carrollton and Villa Rica.
• Manage 24-hour call coverage during on weeks.
• Perform general and emergent urology procedures.
• Care for adult patient population.
• Work with DaVinci robotic systems (DaVinci 5, XI, X).
• Utilize EPIC EMR and collaborate with scribe as available.

Education

Board-certified/board-eligible in Urology

Residency completed in accredited Urology program

Eligible for Georgia medical license and DEA license

West Georgia Urology, a Tanner Health employed practice, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join a thriving, well-established practice serving patients in Carrollton and Villa Rica, GA.

Position Highlights

• 7on/7off schedule, biweekly coverage starting 7am Monday – 7am Monday
• Will provide consultative and surgical services at Tanner Medical Center Carrollton and Tanner Medical Center Villa Rica
• 24 hour call requirement covering both TMC Carrollton and TMC Villa Rica during “on” week
• Required Procedures: General and emergent Urology procedures
• Adult only patient population
• DaVinci 5, XI and X robotic systems
• EPIC EMR and Abridge medical scribe assistant available.
• 2027 graduates are welcome to apply.

Practice & Support

• Practice locations in Carrollton and Villa Rica, Georgia.
• Internal Medicine Hospitalist group will admit patients from ER
• EPIC EMR integrated across ambulatory and hospital settings.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in Urology

• Meet eligibility to obtain Georgia medical and DEA license
