Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Urologist for NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. As a Level 1 Trauma Center, the facility provides extensive health services, and the Urologist will ensure comprehensive, compassionate care to patients. Responsibilities include performing laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, diagnosing and treating genitourinary conditions, and managing treatment plans. Applicants should have expertise in exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Experienced in laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques.
• Must possess knowledge in examining and treating genitourinary disorders.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic tests accurately.

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Urologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem.

NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem is a Level 1 Trauma Center that provides comprehensive health services to nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits, and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.

The primary function is to provide comprehensive, compassionate quality care to the patients of Health and Hospitals/Harlem. Under the supervision of the Department Chairperson, the Staff Physician is an integral part of the medical team at the facility. They are expected to take a leading role in the delivery of health care services to patients in addition to being responsible for the supervision of the advanced practice practitioner staff.

Responsibilities

• Laparoscopic and robotic surgical experience
• Examining, diagnosing, and treating patient conditions and disorders of the genitourinary organs and tracts.
• Documenting and reviewing patients' histories.
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Using specialized equipment, such as X-rays, fluoroscopes, and catheters.
• Performing abdominal, pelvic, or retroperitoneal surgeries when necessary.
• Treating lower urinary tract dysfunctions.
• Prescribing and administering antibiotics, antiseptics, or compresses to treat infections or injuries.
