Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school with residency in Urology.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Urology with active credentials.
  • Colorado medical license or ability to obtain; DEA license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of urology cases with emphasis on oncologic urology.
  • Plan and execute treatment strategies including complex surgeries and minimally invasive approaches.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

About this role

Intermountain Health is expanding our Urology service line in Denver, and we are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist with a strong interest or experience in urologic oncology, complex surgical care, and program growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to help build a high‑quality urology practice within a supportive, collaborative environment. In this role, you will practice a broad spectrum of urology with an emphasis on urologic oncology, including diagnosis, treatment planning, complex surgical management, minimally invasive procedures, and pre‑ and postoperative care. The position also includes general urology needs such as prostate conditions, kidney stones, UTIs, Men’s Health, TURPs, and BPH treatment, with access to advanced technology including the DaVinci robotic system and Aquablation. The ideal candidate is patient‑centered, collaborative, and interested in quality, safety, mentorship, and service line development.

How we’ll support you

Compensation: Our competitive compensation consists of an initial base salary of $560,000 plus a wRVU bonus incentive. We are also offering a $25,000 starting bonus. A relocation bonus of up to $20,000 is available to applicable candidates. We care about your well‑being which is why we provide our caregivers a generous benefits package. What you’ll bring
  • Minimum of 2 years post‑training experience MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency trained and Board Certified/Eligible in Urology
  • Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Active DEA, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
  • Ideal candidates will bring expertise in TURPs and robotic procedures using the DaVinci robotic system
