Job description

Position Overview

This non‑tenure earning, full clinical position is within the Department of Urology at the UAB Heersink School of Medicine and is located at Infirmary Cancer Care in Mobile, AL. The role will be part of a new Department of Urology/Urologic Oncology, collaborating with the UAB Department of Urology to recruit 4‑6 Urologists under a newly appointed Chief of Urology.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical urologic care to patients through multidisciplinary cancer centers and office clinics. Participate in research and clinical trials in collaboration with the O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, and contribute to teaching and academic activities as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Board certified Urologist, or Urologist in completion of a fellowship, with clinical or academic experience.
• Experience in general urology, cancer urology, or relevant sub‑specialty preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary oncology team.
