Job summary

Baptist Health Medical Group in Miami seeks a Urologic Surgical Oncologist to join the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute. This role focuses on genitourinary malignancies and provides comprehensive care within a leading integrated cancer program.

You will collaborate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology and Genetics, participate in tumor boards, and lead robotic-assisted and advanced surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school or program.
• Active and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Board-eligible/Board-certified in Urology (ABU).
• Fellowship training in Urologic Oncology is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage genitourinary malignancies.
• Utilize chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies as appropriate; participate in clinical trials when possible.
• Perform open, minimally invasive, robotic-assisted, and advanced surgical techniques for urologic cancers.
• Collaborate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, Genetics, and other oncology specialists to tailor treatment plans.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and treatment planning conferences.
