Job summary

MultiCare Health System seeks a Urologic Oncology Surgeon to join an expanding group in Washington, practicing within a Commission on Cancer-accredited program alongside a multidisciplinary team.

You will diagnose and treat cancers of the urinary tract and male reproductive system, perform radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and cystectomy with robotic assistance, and coordinate perioperative care with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and PCPs.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Urology required.
• Completion of urology residency; fellowship in urologic oncology preferred.
• Licensed to practice in Washington State at start of employment.
• DEA, NPI and prescriptive authority current.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat cancers of urinary tract and male reproductive system.
• Perform radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy and cystectomy, incl. robotic techniques.
• Interpret imaging and labs; manage pre- and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and PCPs.
• Participate in tumor boards and quality improvement initiatives.
