Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Urologic Oncology Surgeon to join an established practice in Washington. You’ll provide expert surgical care for urologic cancers, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered treatment.

The role emphasizes robotic-assisted procedures, comprehensive perioperative management, and participation in tumor boards and research initiatives within a leading cancer program.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in Urology at time of employment.
• Residency in Urology completed.
• Fellowship accredited by the Society of Urologic Oncology completed.
• Current WA State medical licensure by time of employment.
• DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat urinary tract and male reproductive cancers.
• Perform radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and cystectomy with minimally invasive/robotic techniques.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and labs related to urologic cancer.
• Develop and manage pre- and post-operative care plans.
• Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and PCPs for comprehensive care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case reviews.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety policies.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, risks and recovery.
