Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida seeks an Outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient care within the Genitourinary (Urology) Department. You will collaborate with Surgical Oncologists/Urology, manage a wide range of medical problems, and participate in both clinic and post-operative patient care under supervision or protocol.

The ideal candidate has an advanced practice degree, Florida licensure, BLS (ACLS preferred), and oncology or urology experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred in APRN or PA program.
• Florida medical license or ability to obtain; BLS; ACLS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team in GU/Urology.
• Assists in evaluation, management and treatment of diverse medical problems.
• Prescribes medications within scope and documents care per policy.
• See post-operative and surveillance patients in clinics as assigned.
